55 MPH Race

You’ll never forget feeling despondent.
It’ll haunt you where ever you go
It’s a feeling of chest crushing hopelessness
In a storm, buried up to your neck in snow

Shaking your head and blowing warm breathe
Trying to keep the snow from your face
Suddenly it’s falling faster now
You feel you’re in a race
