Wiping away moisture, the glass cries
Broken words our last and I ask why
Watching her fade into the distance
Knowing without her, there’ll be no existence
Everybody knows how special you are
Everybody sees that I do travel far
Everybody hears over music, our fights
Everybody sees me leave, Sunday night
Wiping away the tears, I realize my fears
Broken bones, swerving, to miss the deer
Watching life fade into the distance
Knowing without me she’ll need an existence

Enjoyed the read. The mood and sentiment were crafted beautifully. In life if you ask questions, mostly the answers are in the form of more questions.
Acceptance sometimes eases the flux and makes one look beyond the immediate present.

Very moving – love the circularity where the last stanza answers the first – nicely crafted words

Writing with the muse and not forcing the issue I guess or sometimes it just sticks to the wall after all. Smiles

I like the subtle change in wording, big change in meaning of the last lines of the first and last stanzas.
