Thoughts of you are a hurtful habit
You hop in out of thin air like a rabbit
Occupying my brain like it was Wall Street
Knowing no other thoughts can compete
Preoccupation and or obsession reigns
Don’t act like this is new or strange
We’ve all fallen under that magic spell
Where love crosses paths of heaven and hell

Thanks and get well. Your health is more important then keeping up with us. I’ve tried to comment on your blog a couple of times and for some reason they don’t appear to be working on my end. So if you see you have 2 from me, that’s why. smiles…

Oh, I couldn’t agree more with you on this one. Sometimes loving someone just isn’t or, wasn’t worth all the pain it brought. The hardest thing I’ve ever had to learn is when to let go.

So true. Gratitude accepted and given.

Oooh, Michael, love this departure from senryu, not simply for its form but for the message of the effects of an unfortunate love on one’s soul. Had to let go of a hurtful “habit” of a marriage once, and truly, it wasn’t as hard to leave as it was to stay… Excellent, Michael. Sorry I’ve been absent; we’re in moving mode, new apt. Peace, Amy

Thanks as always. Hadn’t given your absence too much concern because of the holidays and your commitment to the church. Hope the move is good for you and the family after the dust settles down.
