Not Again

The spark works its way out while you’re writing your craft
It’s easier to edit than writing the first draft
Write it so you can read it and not too sloppy
When you’re typing it, you’ll want a clean copy

Don’t listen to me, do it how it works for you
What’s important is how it reads when you are through
I’ve played this out so I’m on my merry way
Now I guess I’ll edit it on some sunny day

I like this too, Michael.
There’s always pain involved in writing the first draft, I agree. Editing, poetry editing, is the fun part.
Prose? I hate editing that! lol
