Where are the broken hearts?
That was left far behind
Circumstances hid them
Making them hard to find
There were two broken hearts
A hurt but loving pair
One too much and one too little
The pairing just wasn’t fair
Both of them felt broken
Neither one of them could bear
So they hid from each other
And their circumstances back there

it is sad.. like two people that were so badly hurt that they couldn’t see that they needed each other… i’ve been in this situation before.

Wow. Having written a post regarding soulmates, this would be such a crime and no one would ever know just how tragic a loss it is. Beautifully penned. .

You captured that feeling very well, M. One really is the loneliest number, especially when you’re “supposed” to be a couple. Nothing quite like being in a relationship and still feeling lonely as hell. I hope your Valentine’s Day was full of warmth and smiles and not so much the lonely stuff. π

Thank God feelings are temporary events that come and go with the wind. Valentine’s Day will always be filled with warmth because it’s my daughter’s Birth date.
