Orange’s Heart

The spray from the peels was acrid, and stung our eyes
But the juice of the orange turned to pulp and dried
The texture and coloring were quite firm and bright
Funny how we rely on, just feelings and sight

    • You have no idea how much I admire your sacrifice. Food is one of my problems in my life, but it’s been one all my life. Some of us are going to be pleasingly plump I guess. smiles…
