Stretching My Good Will

I seen you coming with your black sack
Now it’s you again trying to come back
The people would like their young men to help
The crops failed when you left is still felt

See your bone yard that you left behind
You promised no more snakes assigned
What now do you offer these young men
Eternal life caring for you again

You didn’t share your crops that were expected
Where are our crops that you had projected
Coming back what’d you expect to see
The bone yard isn’t full and we’ve the key

Makes Me Cry

Mountains spread the echoes from my sighs
Trying to hide from who’s making me cry
Silence so loud it sang our old song
She erupted and ran our chances gone

Later the siren’s song drew me near
Causing all my fears to disappear
Her scaled tail slapping out loud the beat
My will slipping away, I dove deep

Raising the spell, my head is clearing
I have to vanquish it for the King
Finding the Golden sword I grabbed it
Swimming to the surface I swung quick

Minutes went by her head sank fast
Looked in the water I sat aghast
Tail fins turned into feet made me sigh
Nowhere to hide from who makes me cry

Wise Quote

My Hiding Place

All I can give are these few words written here

Uncovering part of my life hoping to clear

Being left behind wrestling with my old fears

The same unspoken problems behind my tears

No molds or experience just an empty void

Tripping over my cold darkened thoughts yet a boy

Being held backward or worst yet pushed through destroyed

Reliving parts of my life no longer being toyed

The mirrored web cracked splintering some of my sins

While I tip toe on eggshells, needles and pins

Hoping today the rest of my life begins

Opening the locked doors that are held tight within

Side By Side

You’ve stole my heart the day we met
Our two souls mingle now sharing our breath
Now It beats for two with no regret
Breathing now labored with thoughts of death

Pulling away our feelings strained
Grabbing each other we reconnect
It’s no use as we try to explain
Knowing each other we’d resurrect

The King screamed to the gallows post haste
His Princess had ran away before
Her Father had enough being disgraced
Hinges squeaked opening the trap doors

Four Blank Walls

Being caught up into her stagnation
It’s hard work watching her four blank walls
Rocking my chair in alienation
Her breathing and my rocking had stalled

Indiscernible music and lyrics
Screaming silence into her musty room
Wiggling their arses farting satiric
Opening my mind’s eye seeing the gloom

Being left alone staring at her walls
Only seeing the dust around the frame
Fading memories as pictures fall
Nothing now will ever be the same

Split It

They say I’ve got to make change
For the next transfer…
Looks like you’ve got too much.
Let’s split it so we can both walk instead.
I hope your back pocket doesn’t have enough
change for the transfer.

She’s The Boss

Sound of colors only known to some
Or watching heat waves from the sun
Feeling the whispers from her pink lips
She let me go as she grabbed her hips

With her cold stare down she won he blinked
She told him once more she turned and winked
Her Dad died and she overcame loss
Watching the changes done proved she’s boss

Do Not Disturb

Get out from underneath the serpent
My muses coil on sleeping bloggers
Watching the their sphere of influence shunt
Publisher’s doors once open now shut

Laurels start to turn brown and fall off
Sitting on the brownstone’s dirty curb
Eating from the generosity trough
Sleeping with the sign Do Not Disturb

The River Bends

Using two rafts we went round the bend
Straightening out how river’s depth sends
Deeper now straightens the resistance
Going faster shortening the distance

Rocks cause the rapids to sing endowed
Spraying and raining harmony aloud
We roll under the darkening skies
Lightening the sky with thunder’s reply

Coming up ahead the river splits
One side the river is wide and fit
The other meets rapids stronger yet
Now we know he should have not bet

Given These Tears Today

Given these crocodile tears today
Forgive me exposing my broken heart
And me as my heaving body sways
To our old song now broken apart

Only she can kiss away my tears
She’s walking down to the river’s bank
Going to skip flat rocks we did for years
We were both happier with many thanks

Following her to the river’s edge
Picked up a rock and skipped it down stream
Quietly bringing up our life long pledge
And when we put together our dream

If your intentions are to leave pure
I will walk away with no more words
Nothing but sobs without any cure
Tears came as I turned away eyes blurred

It’s time for a session with the truth
You walked in this morning your head down
We have invested our time since our youth
We locked our eyes and you skipped your crown
