Falling Face Down

It’s hard to know, how our love died
I look and try, to see your side
Accepting fault, for losing you
Is something that, is hard to do

Why are you still, packing your clothes
Wait here’s the ring, I give, propose
I see your tears, please see mine too
Just hear me out, don’t say we’re through

As you walk out, guilt rushes in
Down the porch stairs, regret begins
Fingers press at, your car window
Falling face down, as I follow

Accepting Fault

Running out of conversation
Same old story, same old sad wife
Time to consider castration
Or to find a new way of life

Folded up all the tents wandering
From love that once was around us
Running to and from blundering
Too bad about nothing discussed
