Drowsy, dusty, deepening devices
Honing and toning a phony crisis
Hoping the crows in flight entice
Before they were sliding on thin ice
Crossword puzzles becomes a blur
Archaic clues undeserved
One across, poetry deferred
Easily read would be preferred
