Favorite Things

Water boarding prisoners and pulling off nails
Beating their backs with my cat o nine tails
Brown human packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

Shaving their heads with nicked and dulling razors
Zapping their soft spots with high voltage Taser’s
Lemon and lime juice make paper cuts sting
These are a few of my favorite things

Girls in cammies with cameras that flashes
Piling up prisoners not covering their asses
Some didn’t make it and wished for some wings
These are a few of my favorite things

When the trials start
When the prisons close
When I’m feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don’t feel so bad

Entrust

Entrust your love while you are gone away
You are off to fight to come back some day
Your friend for some years has proven his worth
To care for your wife who is going to birth

The war lasts for years your time is now done
You come home to find you fathered a son
Not yet three years old he’s handsome and bright
He talks like a man wants to be a great knight

Wooden sword and shield he fights the bad men
But most of the time he just scares the hens
His friend told the boy his father’s great deeds
He fended for his wife and filled all their needs

My Reality

When I start I have no idea why
Words sputter in and out multiply
Now and again they pop out freely
No rhyme or reason or boundaries

Are you sensing my reality now
I have a strong commitment to vows
The promises that I keep aloud
Are the ones my conscience allows

Few More Crumbs

Went flying again today
And should have never come
The sun rays and pays
By drying out wet bread crumbs

Thoughts and feelings unclear
Watching the ravens eat
Wiping away hot tears
By not staying it’s retreat

Their lost children’s plane lands
Priest gives last rites
Families wring their hands
While others line up their sights

The bright children we knew
Cling to each other’s fate
But coming back home screwed
Rolled in a bubble wrapped crate

So You Had to Ask or

Skimming the water, how do we know
How deep or shallow the water is
Without running the risk of vulnerability
Or are we to know only when it’s his

Does Charon always charge for to and fro
If you had to assk for the answer it always burns
Are (S)elected memories of a rich man’s health
The only way to express funneling Wealth..

Marching in Step

Giving it all up or giving in
Raising the white flag could be a sin
Looking back as I run from the din
Knowing full well no one really wins

Catching up to the ones before
Marching away in step from the war
Promising never again they swore
It’s better to give up to save the corps

Unraveled

Escaping unraveled, breaking through the door
Squeezed and teased too long, can’t take no more
Coping, soaking and smoking, being your ignant whore
Loose off the end of the chain, starting war

Your end of day’s blaze
Going up in a haze blaze
Your end of day’s blaze
Hear all that I say blaze

There’s no turning back, clean and free from you
But images painted, are all black and blue
All the damage are done, glue fixin won’t due
Loose off the end of the war, you’d better run too

Should, Could, Would

The days are so long without me being there,
I hold up my chin, act strong, but I’m scared;
That while I’m away fighting this war
That something might happen, so I scream and deplore.

How will you react while I slam open that door?
What do I say that hasn’t been said before?
I won’t fall prone but I will bend a knee;
Bow my head, kiss your hand, ask you to marry me.

Imagine these words being said to you now
If you must know that they’re real, say them aloud
I couldn’t wait to express how I feel
Every day that I’m here I spin the wheel

It’s On Tonight

Word whispered out, “It’s on tonight.”The War Machine

Warriors rounded into one

Lightest armor and weapons chose

Into evening we would run

King and men flanked ridges around

Insuring foe’s defeat

Queen and court made ready for fight

Stockpiling bastions for retreat

Advancing slow on sleeping foes

Ice water soon to break

Projectiles at the ready

Balloons will abruptly awake

Wars Last Stand

The rust runs off redLast Stand
Machinery froze
Black fluids bled

Collecting the dead
Sun’s bleach expose
The rust runs off red

Flame not right yet
Bodies decompose
Black fluids bled

Bound and broken treads
Rendering of foes
The rust runs off red

Bloated children fed
Torn pennant blows
Black fluids bled

Grinding bones for bread
Stark machines pose
The rust runs off red
Black fluids bled
