Over Hearing

The words absorbing my soul
Billowing full of buoyancy
Awareness does extol

Replacing angst with calming
Opens the ears of the blind
Hearing eyes weeping seeing
All my senses intertwined

    You know what I like about poetry — it can move the soul, shift a mood, and get someone to stop and listen. It is quite beautiful. Especially when all three tasks are accomplished, such as they are in this piece.
