Eternal Treasure

Nothing can hold back the tide
Nor lasso the circling moon
Keeping the sun from morning
Or stopping the spring cocoons

I can add to this my soul
Your smile melting my heart
The depth of your sparkling eyes
Opening my sight from the start

All that I have to give you
Is that my fondness is forever
And that you’ll be protected
As my eternal treasure

Golden leaves shimmer
The black river summons you
Flowing towards full moon

Reaching beyond the sunset

Reaching beyond the sunset
Forging new stars for you
Waxing the moon to fullest
All for our rendezvous

The moon will glow and you will know
New stars will flare upon your stare
Love has no bounds you will have found
No one ever better for you
No one ever better for you

I’ve reached beyond the sunset
Forged new stars only for you
Waxed the moon to its fullest
All for my love of you

water’s edge tickling stones
